State Track and Field Champs recap

Last weekend we were extremely proud to send a team of athletes to LAVic’s State Champs event, and even more proud to see them come home with not one, but FOUR Bronze medals.

Additionally to that, we saw 14 top 8 performances as well as numerous PBs and great sportsmanship from everyone.

A special mention to Jamie Pointon for starting all weekend out in the sun and a big thank you to all the volunteers, parent helpers and athletes!

Little Athletics Summer Season

Season Celebration Round

Date: THIS Saturday 19th March

Location: Morrison Reserve, Mt Evelyn

As we near the completion of our summer season of Littles this weekend will be a special Season Celebration Round to recognise the dedication and success of not just our awesome young athletes, but our parent helpers, volunteers and committee.

We look forward to seeing everyone down at the track at the regular time for a fun morning. At this stage the weather is looking to be perfect so don’t forget to bring a hat and sunscreen!

COMING SOON TO YRA…

As the summer season draws to a close, we are fast approaching the beginning of YRA’s cross country season.

Pencil in these two dates; April 2 and April 9!

The committee are extremely excited to bring XC back for 2022.

All ages. All abilities. All welcome.

Beginning a new season is the perfect opportunity to put your hand up and volunteer. YRAXC is entirely reliant on volunteers to set up, run, and pack up and we need all of the help that we can get. The more volunteers we have, the less everyone has to volunteer.

Please contact Max Savill-Bentley (0428191006), or pop your name and contact details on the volunteer roster sheet if you would like to contribute as a volunteer. Click here to visit the volunteer roster.

More information to come soon!
