Cross Country Starts This Weekend
Always a fun, inclusive and enjoyable morning of running around some of our local parklands. This year we will have new courses to enjoy at Morrison Reserve, Lillydale Lake and Margaret Lewis Reserve, as well as the much loved Durham Rd course.
Our opening round will be at Morrison Reserve, Mt Evelyn on the 17th of April. With distances including 500m, 1000m, 1500m, 2000m and 3000m. Athletes of all ages and abilities are welcome to compete in any event they are comfortable with, each event will have a “tortoise” and many will have a “hare”. Look for the club banner to find the start / finish area.
First race is planned to start at 9.00am (500m), please arrive earlier to register, drop your gold coin in the tin and warm up ready for your event.
We have some experienced helpers on board, but will still need some extra hands, if you are able to be part of a regular helpers crew for either course marking, registrations (coins and name collection), timing or results entering, please email events@yarrarangesathletics.org.au
Australian Track & Field Championships
Good luck to our six talented, hard working club athletes competing at the Australian track & field championships in Sydney over 8 days starting on Monday 12th April.

Memberships for the 2021-2022 season are now open!
This season, there is a range of different membership options to choose from. Depending on your goals, we have everything from the Social Runner offering to the Track and Fielder membership. There’s something for everyone.

Please ensure that you have registered yourself prior to the Jells Park relays that are coming up.
We are currently in the process of creating teams for Jell’s Park Relays which are coming up quickly, so if you are interested in competing please let us know and we will get your name down.
